Warranty Service Checklist

If you have recently had work done by Sigtek and you are experiencing problems, please check for the following problems prior to contacting us:

  1. TV ANTENNAS
    1. Ensure that the antenna lead is intact and plugged in to both the wall plate and television;
    2. If an amplifier is attached to your antenna system, ensure that the power supply for your amplifier is plugged in and switched on;
    3. If you have tried the above with no success, try running a lead directly from your television to the wall plate. If the picture is clear, the problem may be to do with auxiliary equipment and not your antenna.
    4. Please note* Storm damage is not covered under our warranty, this should be dealt with by your home/business insurance;
  2. 3G/4G BOOSTERS
    1. If you've had a power outage recently and you can't get Internet, make sure your 4G modem is switch on, and the Wi-Fi is also turned on (most 4G modems switch off Wi-Fi after 10 minutes when on battery power);
    2. Again, if you've recently had a power outage, please wait 15 minutes for both your modem and booster to initiate;
    3. Turn off the modem or booster, wait 5 minutes, then turn booster back on, wait another 5 minutes then turn the modem on, see if that fixes the issue;
    4. Please note* Storm damage is not covered under our warranty, this should be dealt with by your home/business insurance;
  3. WI-FI NETWORKING
    1. If you've had a power outage recently and you can't get Internet, turn off modem and Wi-Fi routers and wait 5 minutes, turn on modem and wait 5 minutes, then turn on any Wi-Fi equipment and wait 5 minutes, then try to connect;
    2. Try disconnecting from your Wi-Fi router, wait 2 minutes and then reconnect;

PLEASE NOTE: If a Sigtek technician is required to attend and the problem is not a warranty issue, the technician may charge a service call fee.
